4 Months and a Twins Game

Hi! It's Linnea here and I'm 4 months old!! For my bday mommy and daddy decided to take me to the Twins game with another couple. Boy there was a LOT of people to look at, new smells and a lot of new sounds. But even with all that I was a good girl and able to snoze for a bout an hour or so. But when I woke up in the 8th I was getting hungry and the noise was getting louder. I tried a bottle in the 9th but wasnt having it so mommy tried to nurse but that was hard to because of all the noise. I was a little scared but I had fun and am very glad the Twins won! And I even got to see mommy's fav former Twin...Tori Hunter!

Happy Birthday

Hi Gramps! I hope you enjoy your bday movie tonight with grandma! I tried to come visit you after daycare at your work today but you had already left. Oh well we will get to celebrate on Sunday after you and mommy and my uncles do that crazy bike ride. Well, its time for me to eat so once again have a great day anf Happy Birthday! I love you! More friends!

Over my Spring Break Linnea and I went a few walks with some of mommy's friends. One of mommy's friends had her daughter about 2 months aftter I did and that is her in the above picture. Isabelle is her name and the two babies have met one other time but this time was more fun since they are both smiling now! As you can see Linnea is just having a blast and Isabelle has a sparkle in her eye. We will be playing a LOT this summer!

My other friends she got to meet and go on a walk with are Melinda and DeeDee. DeeDee's cute son Dylan is in the chair. We had a nice walk around Como Lake and then lunch.

Alison is holding Linnea in the picture below. Al's bridal shower was Linnea's first outing when she was only a week old!

Como Zoo

We ended Easter 2009 with a trip to the Como Zoo! It was such a nice day and Linnea did great! She stayed up to check out the monkeys, giraffes and zebras but then passed out in her stroller. It will be even more fun as she gets older to bringher to this cute zoo. Im glad we live just a few miles away! We will be walking there this summer!

She really seemed interested, well as interested as a 4 month old can be, in the zebra!!

Easter

We had a wonderful time this Easter. It was so fun to get Linnea all dressed up for the holiday! The fun started on Saturday when we headed to Ellsworth to have a Papa Murphy's Easter dinner and catch up with Chris' side. It was great to see them and especially those cute twins! I cant wait until they are all a little older and can play together...for now they just kind of look at one another and sort of reach out. Either way its very cute and will be so much more fun in a few months!
On Sunday we got to put Linnea in her first dress and we headed to Woodbury for an Easter breakfast, church and then back to the house for more visiting. The Woodbury Bunny also left Linnea a very cute duck hooded towel and her "First Library" which was full of cute animal books! We loved every minute of it!

Here we are....just stopping in the blog world to wish everyone a very....
We are looking forward to heading to Ellsworth Saturday afternoon to celebrate with daddy's side and then to Woodbury Sunday morning to celebrate with mommy's side. We may end up at the Como Zoo and our house on Sunday afternoon. What a busy but fun holiday! We hope the Easter Bunny is good to everyone, especially a little girl named Rachael who is sick at Children's Hospital. She is on the road to recovery but has to spend the holiday away from home. Please keep her in your thoughts! Love you Carson family!

Cute Outfits and Airplane Rides!

This is one of Ms. Linnea's new favorite things! "Flying" through the air like an airplane...of course with the help of an adults arms! She gets this really cute open mouthed grin on her face as soon as we put her high in the air! YAY! I have to be careful not to do it too close to after eating...

A kiss from mommy...this was after a walk the Sunday before daycare began. Daycare has continued to go well! She is very smily for everyone over there, takes good naps and is eating more and more. Go Linnea! 2:30 is still my favorite time of day when I get to pick her up! We have this week off together since it is spring break!

Today we are going to have lunch with grandma Henjum for her birthday, Tuesday we are going to go to our new parent class again and hopefully we will meet with a friend for a walk one of the days too. I will bring her to daycare on Thursday for part of the day while I sell Twin Tickets.

I just think this lounging outfit is sooo cute! We are borrowing it from Linnea's cousin Rylie! Thanks Rylie!

Not too many other new things going on here in the Meyers world. Linnea is trying to grab things which is fun to watch...she took daddys glasses off during a change. She is back to waking up once a night to eat and sometimes one other time for her pacifier.

This week was kind of rough sleeping since she is a bit congested. We had some "fun" spit up issues before work and daycare a few mornings. The pour thing would gag on her spit up and snot. I asked the daycare if we should be concerned about bringing her but Sandy thought no, if she is happy and doesn't have a temp she is fine. The spitting up is her way of cleaning out her nose...I get to help with the bulb syringe of course too!

We are very excited for the Twins and fantasy baseball to start!

High Chair Fun!

We tried putting Linnea in her high chair a few weeks ago and I never blogged about it! She seemed to enjoy it! She's not quite ready to eat in it yet but it's nice to have another place to set her down! She really enjoyed looking at her friends...Winnie the Pooh and her musical duck!
