Last Monday night Daddy returned from his trip to Arizona! The guys had a great time together!
They drove to the Grand Canyon and stayed in a nice hotel in Flagstaff where they hungout by the pool or stayed in the cool in the room.
They also went to a yummy BBQ restaurant.
And a fun Mexican restaurant. Unfortunately the camera battery died and Chris didnt have another one and forgot to pack the charger. But he did get some good pictures anyways!
Linnea and I had a great time staying with grandma and grandpa while daddy was gone. I dont have any pictures though since the camera was in AZ. But this is what we did...We went to Grandma Thomas' house from the airport to help go through things and take some things home and then had a nice BBQ with the whole family at my parents house. Linnea and Dylan even got to take a cousins bath together and then play on gma and gpas big bed! Linnea hung out Saturday morning with gma and gpa while I opened at Caribou. When I was done with work we went to Carver Beach in Woodbury with my new parent group. It was VERY hot though and the water was VERY cold so we only stayed about 2 hours if that! Linnea went in the water briefly in just her diaper! so cute! She also ate two strawberries! Not mashed or anything...shes getting pretty good and chewing with her two teeth and gums! I still worry she will choke though. After an afternoon nap we headed out to Julie and Bob's for dinner and visiting. Sunday morning we made it to church and Sunday afternoon we went for a walk and then headed to a friends 4th birthday party. Monday I think we pretty much just relaxed until heading to my house after dinner to put Linnea to bed and pick Chris up! We wanted to get over to great grandma's but she ended up falling since she was still weak from being sick so we let her rest and recover and we hope to see her this week. Whew! It was a busy weekend but so fun!
