I remember the Halloween Blizzard and this reminds sooooo much of it!!!
The weathermen were right on this time when they said it would snow and it would snow
A LOT!!!
I really love snow but this kind of came at an inopportune time...we were planning on going to Snack with Santa Saturday morning and celebrate Linnea's 2nd birthday Elmo style. Neither activity happened but that is okay. We will see Santa another time and celebrate Linnea's bday on her actual bday instead of her due date. We are happy everyone stayed safe and that we had a warm house to be in with many activities to do inside!
But we did get out for a little while...a little while being maybe 5 minutes. Linnea was so curious so we bundled up and got her sled out and I pushed and pulled her down our driveway a few times and showed her the street full of snow. It was a little windy for us though so we headed in...
and guzzled some hot cocoa!!!
and made a few batches of cookies.
Chris did all the hard work and used our new snowblower! Thank goodness Dave and Sarah gave us our Christmas gift before this storm hit us! We are so lucky. Good job to all of you shoveler. Shoveling 20+ inches of snow is very admirable.
