GG turned 88 this February! She certainly has done a lot in her life and has a very loving family surrounding her. We all went over to the Estates to celebrate with her a few weekends ago. We left Linnea with my parents after the party so we could have our Valentine's Day date and our first date night in a LONG time. The party was great and involved appetizers, pizza and GG opening her gifts. The kiddoes ran around, did some coloring, ran around, did some puzzles, ate a little and ran some more.
Maple Cookies!
Playing with their Valentine gifts from the grandparents.
Our date night on the other hand did not go as planned. We were hoping to see The Vow, well I think everyone else in the Woodbury and Roseville area had the same idea since both theaters were sold out! We will now always be buying our tickets in advance online or at the box office hours before it starts. So we ended up at home in our jammies on the couch with popcorn, candy and Midnight in Paris. It was a good movie and nice to have a night off of putting Linnea to bed BUT I was really looking forward to actually going out to a movie since most nights I am in my jammies on the couch with a movie or show. But this time Chris was with me instead of in bed so it was still a good night :)

Love the Valentine's treats you made - you always make the coolest looking treats, Amy! How fun to get to celebrate you grandma's 88th birthday all together. Bummer about the movie though!! We'll have to get our little ballerinas together sometime soon to play. Stay healthy!
