The end of February brought the time we had to say goodbye to our dear friends who were also Harper's nanny/caregiver since September. The neighborhood had a nice farewell party for them. Thank you to Sheri and Ray for hosting. It was pretty cold but some brave souls sledded for about an hour before the party and then played on Sheri and Ray's ice rink in their backyard. Linnea was one of these brave souls...until a puck went into her foot and then into her leg as she was trying to stand up. We were done at that point and headed in to play, eat and visit :) Sheri provided a taco bar and in true MN fashion, everyone brought an appetizer, side dish or dessert to share. We were so blessed and lucky to meet and have Susana, Elias and Andres in our life. Her love for Harper and the care she gave her was wonderful. It was so nice to have someone come to our house everyday. Susana made it so easy to go to work knowing Harper was in good hands and in her own home (or sometimes in Susana's house).

Susana and Gail (next door neighbors. Susana watched her girls a lot too) |

We made Susana and family a salt dough ornament or wall hanging with the girls' handprint on them. Linnea did the honors of painting both during the sleepover at grandma and papa's. |
