January flew by! Disney was definitely our highlight but here are some more:
We came home to some snow but not too cold so we got outside and played:
We also tried a trampoline park with some friends and LOVED it! I totally want to go and do an exercise class there!
We introduced Linnea to Excitebike! Linnea may become a vidiot...everytime she plays any game she really likes it! Makes her daddy happy :) And I'm happy seeing her happy and having fun!
We had some movie nights and Daddy sat right where his lil ladies asked him to :)
The girls and I did some fun Winter Carnival activities...we went to the daytime parade at Rice Park and then enjoyed some crafts, music and the bounce house in the Landmark Center.
The girls became superheroes inside as well!
We peeked at the ice sculptures but there were melting and we didnt have the time or energy to wait in line and see more than this. I was heading to Woodbury to drop the girls off for a sleepover at my parents house so Chris and I could get our January date in.
We had planned to just make some homemade burritoes and watch some shows at home but we learned half our neighborhood friends were at the bar down the road so after two episodes we headed there as well! We are so glad we did...the band was Davina and the Vagabonds and they were so fun! Very New Orleanish. Afterwards we went and sang karoake at our friends house. We had a blast and can't wait to do it again, however it has been hard to find a night when we all have babysitters :) We really randomly lucked out this evening! Our kids get a long but sometimes its fun to just be adults together without the little loves of our lives ;)
We showed the original Annie to the girls. Linnea had lots of questions about Ms. Hannigan and Harper truly enjoyed the music and danced all around :)
We started to get ready for Valentine's Day :)
We attempted to have a friend sleepover but she didn't make it and had mom come at 10pm. They had a great time until then!
Frozen again!
Harper LOVES to be naked and dance and play around...sometimes with sissies boots on!
We celebrated a friends birthday at the Monkey House bounce house.
And saw the snow sculptures and snow maze before the Superbowl :)
We didnt go anywhere for the superbowl this year. We had some frozen Target chicken wings, veggies and dip, chips and dip and some fruit.
The girls were even into it because they knew Katy Perry was performing at half time...not sure they knew how long theyd have to wait for the show but I dont think they cared :) They were happy as could be in their chairs with snacks :)
Chris said he wasn't too excited for the game but I think he was pretty into it still :)
