We got to spend the 4th of July weekend up at our friends moms house and it was so much fun! She lives in Goodland which is around 3 hours away. We left Friday late afternoon and came home Sunday afternoon.

After we painted our shirts we headed to fireworks! yep we watched them the night before the 4th in a public place and then we set some off on our own on the 4th.

We put on our red whites and blues and went to a very cute parade on the actual 4th of July :)
We got there pretty early so we had time to make some flags and munch on our caramel puffcorn :)
It was also great we got there early so we could score a shady spot on the hot day!

After the parade we headed back to the house/campground and had a yummy grilled lunch and went swimming at the nearby lake. Harper also enjoyed some trike riding!
Caroline made the traditional flag cake since the other gals didnt show interest in helping this year.
Then it was time for the fantastic food!
I didnt get any pics in the lake or of the fireworks we set off but it did happen :)
The girls enjoyed sleeping in the tent and playing in the tent!
The Linneas were raising some lilypads :)
We ended our trip with some Irish dancing!
