Winter Break always flies by...we filled it with some good times with family and friends!
I got to ski and sled!
We had a big Christmas and Wedding Anniversary celebration with Chris' extended family in Bellechester. Family from Georgia and Cali were even there!
Stopped at some more lights on the way home from that!
We spent some time playing with new toys...
Magnatiles! |
a fav holiday special of mine! |
We went to toddler Tuesdays at MOA and saw the lovely Christmas decorations and attended a fun pajama party for the girls. Harper loved following along with the dance moves with her big sis!
We then walked around Nickelodeon Universe and met with some characters but no rides. Mom of the year forgot her check card :( But L said she didnt feel like riding and H just pretty much goes along with whatever.
We spent quite a bit of time playing with legos
before heading to the Disney Store. I am so lucky that these two were not in a needy mood or browsing in that store with them would not have worked at all. But they had fun just looking and watching some shows on the big tv in there. Harper was getting attached to some of the shoes so it was definitely time to leave :)
We made time to play some games over break too :)
And we watched Papa play his softball game with Erik and the boys
And went out to lunch with the softball star and boys too. We were the Star Wars Meyers that day too :)
Papa and his grandkids :)
New Year's Eve quickly arrived and after much indecisiveness of what to do I ended up bringing the girls to Minnehaha Falls, the Peanuts Movie and then my second cousins house for games with my parents and her parents :)
We got to see Mack and her mom one more time as well since they were able to join us at the Riverview for Peanuts. My parents made it too! And we all LOVED it!!! Chris was very sad to miss but he got sick and had to stay home :(
We went to the cafe across the street after the movie for some warm drinks and the girls could play in the play area :)
So cute and festive! Mack and I both had candy cane mochas. It was yummy but not the same as my ho ho mint mochas from the Bou.
The girls shared a nutella hot cocoa. The best!
Before the adults played games we did some coloring :)
The adults/parents played Tripoley while Brianna was so sweet to watch/entertain L and H.
We missed the 11 Happy New Year in NY so we stayed until midnight MN time! Cant believe the girls made it!
But they were passed out quickly on the way home :)
What a great way to ring in the New Year! Here is to an awesome 2016! and keeping on the blog...
