Dear Linnea,
We have been working on and off with you on potty training for a few months and at daycare they have been putting you on the potty after every diaper change for a quite a while. You are doing great! You have gone potty on the potty chair many times and received your fav candy...M & M's. Tonight (Tuesday June 7, 2011 when it hit record highs of 103 degrees here in MN) you even pooped on the potty! This summer I will be with you for 2 days a week plus the weekend so I think we will get even farther along with this potty training thing and you will wear big girl undies in no time. Its hard to devote a lot of time to it being a working parents and super busy every weekend. Anyways...speaking of wearing big girl undies,you have had quite the time putting these things on and taking them off. Putting on shorts has also caused many tears and stress on us parents and you. You try so hard and then cry so hard cuz you just haven't figured it out yet but refuse help. Even if we are no where near you, if you get stuck you shout no mommy, no daddy, no help me. However, once you calm down you usually nicely say I need help please. You did manage to get your shorts on all by yourself and you were so proud. We opted not to tell you that you had two legs in one leg hole. It looked like a cute but tight mini skirt. More to come on the potty training journey! Keep up the good work squirt!
