Strawberry PIcking

We went strawberry picking with my mom and boy did us girls have fun! Maybe one of the best days of summer :)

                                                                

We took a hayride out to the strawberry field. Both girls loved it! We told them all about mommy and daddy's wedding which was at Afton Apple Orchard which is where we were picking. Our guests all took a hayride out to the ceremony site too :)

 After we were done picking berries and had our strawberry doughnut and strawberry lemonade slushy we the girls played a little bit at the playground before it got too hot.

Im so glad I got to try some strawberries and some strawberry lemonade slushy.

We made strawberry muffins, strawberry chocolate chip GF bread, strawberry sauce for ice cream, 4th of July dipped strawberries (pic to come in the 4of July post), kabobs, smoothies and a new one...strawberry ice cream sandwiches on graham crackers! thanks for the idea pinterest! All we did was blend cool whip and strawberries and spread it on the graham cracker, make a sandwich and freeze it! easy peasy and super yummy! 

We also of course just ate plenty of them plain or on cereal :)
