Well slowly but surely I will blog our amazing trip to Florida/Disney World!
Our second day was spent primarily at our resort. The girls woke up and got their first gift out of the "magic drawer." This magic drawer had a little gift each day from "Minnie Mouse." The first gift was their autograph book with a special note from Minnie.
I got a little run in around the resort and then met the girls and my parents in the pool. Chris had gone shopping for groceries for us :) This day was one of the warmest there so I'm glad we took advantage of the pool! We took a break to have lunch and then headed to a playground which we thought had a letterbox and splash pad...well it had one of the two things! The letterbox! We played at the park and found the box. We forgot that it was winter in Florida so some water activities are going to be closed. We headed back to play at our resort playground and then to our "house" for dinner and Mickey Mouse Sundaes while watching Mulan :)
The playground at our resort was very fun! It looked like a castle! My phone died while we were there tho so this is all I got.
Mickey Mouse Sundaes!
Day 3 we headed to the beach! My friend Melissa and her family live super close to Indian Rocks Beach so that's where we went. But first we stopped at the Botannical Gardens. What a beautiful place and completely free! It was nice and sunny there for our walk. We even saw a baby alligator!
We were getting pretty hungry so we headed to the beach where we were hoping for a picnic...however the sun went away and it got quite chilly and windy so we ended up "picnicking" at my fav ice cream shop Kooky Coconuts! We still enjoyed the beach and found lots of shells I hope to glue onto a picture frame.

Loving this day with the love of my life, girls and parents. |
gazing at the waves and wishing it wasnt so cold so she could swim :) |
Lovebirds walking along the beach :)
We squeezed in a quick trip to a nature center where we found more letterboxes and saw HUGE turtles! I wish we had more time because I think there was a cool playground there but we needed to meet our friends for the sunset and dinner at Crabby Bill's!
Off to the sunset and dinner!
Sooooo peaceful and beautiful. good for the heart and soul. |
Us adults actually ended up eating most of our dinner back at Melissa and Joe's house. The kids food was brought out waaaay before ours and they weren't going to make it through waiting for our food and then us eating it. So we thought everyone would enjoy their meals more at a house where the kiddoes could play and we could eat and chat :) It was also a treat to see Mel and Joe's house!
