Mother's Day Weekend

Well I'm pretty behind on this!

About a month ago we had a very nice Mother's Day Weekend :)

Part of it was spent helping at my parents garage sale where we ended up selling about $100 worth of small things. We were happy with that amount considering the things we were selling. We had no big items. The Friday of Mothers Day weekend Linnea I had a great time at her school talent show. Just the two of us went and enjoyed our "date." She didn't perform this year but thinks she may nest year. There is some talent at her school...lots of singing, joke telling, gymnastics and some dancing :) 

She especially loved the final perfomance which was Hard Knock Life from Annie.

This was a pretty sight on my run Saturday before heading to help out at the sale. 

We put some curlers in Linneas hair after the talent show and she was so happy to wake up curly!

We headed out to Erik and Lisa's late Saturday afternoon to have a cookout for Mother's Day. 

Erik made some phenomenal burgers...bacon cheeseburger and bleu cheese I think if I remember correctly. 

I am so lucky to be the mommy of these two!

After church we headed out to Chris' moms in Bay City. Chris went and got some yummy coffee drinks while we were church. They were nice to drink on the drive :)

I got these beautiful flowers from Sarah. I love being a mama and am so happy to have such a great mother in law and mom to help guide me along on this wonderful motherhood journey :) I am looking forward to having about a month and half of being able to be a full time mommy this summer!
