1st Parade of the Summer!
Not only did Linnea get to go to the DQ on Thursday she also got to go to a parade! It was Summerfest in Oakdale so we headed out there and met my parents for some fun. Linnea took a little while to get the hang of collecting candy but once she did she was one happy camper with lots of silly squeals of joy when more candy was thrown at her. She also wanted to give anything in costume a hug and she has the "Miss America" wave down pat. It was a great time even though it was sweatshirt weather! What a crummy June! Can we have a re-do please??

Hooray for Summerfest! We went Friday night with our girls and had a blast. It was our first time so I didn't know what it would be like but it definitely surpassed my expectations. Way to go, Oakdale! :) Glad to see Linnea liked the Summerfest too.
