Last Thursday night was the annual Christmas Party at GG's assisted living home. The whole family was able to make it...well almost. I got sick Tuesday night and stayed home Wednesday and then Chris got it so he was out of commission for Thursday nights festivities. He has made it to the past 2 years or so of the parties.
SO, almost the whole family was there for a "professional" picture (without Santa this year, usually he and his wife usually make an appearance. I guess they were to busy working on presents), some cookies and punch were served and the Woodbury High School Choir sang carols. Linnea showed off her dance moves for some of the songs and her and cousins sang along with some as well.
We were a little sad they didn't play her favorite...Santa Clause is Coming to Town...or as calls it, "You Better Not Cry." I think she thought they were going to play it at one point because it got very quiet and she said sort of loud with her lil face scrunched up with excitement, "My favorite song is next!"
At the end of the night Linnea got to open her birthday present from GG and she proceeded to play with for about 10-15 minutes while I got the car.
