A few months ago we reserved a camping spot at Whitewater State Park for this past weekend. The months flew by and our big first camping trip as a family of three was here! We had so.much.fun.!!!! I can't wait to go again! We left Friday after work and preschool so we got to the site around 8 which was a bit later than we wanted but it was still light enough to put our tent up.
We had eaten on the way so all we had to worry about was starting a fire for smores!
Our friends Chuck, Deanna, Mikey and Laura were already there and helped play with squirt while we unpacked what we needed for our first night. Linnea tried a few times to go nigh nigh in the tent on her own because she said she was so tired, but as soon Chris or I would attempt to leave the tent to sit by the fire with our friends she would say she wanted to come with and crawl out of her sleeping bag.
So we let her come out and sit for a bit but shortly afterwards we decided we were all plenty tired and ready to call it a night.
