Sunday Funday!

This past Sunday (Sunday of Memorial Day weekend that is. I am way behind in this blog! sorry! working, playing, living, being pregnant and a mommy and a wife leaves lil time, but I haven't forgotten about the blog!) Linnea and I spent the day at grandma and papa's while Chris was working some overtime. We started out the morning at a new park where we found some fun slides and a SUPER fun caterpillar! 

Linnea was obsessed with it! She must have spent a good 10 minutes watching it move, picking it up and moving it from ground to tree to leaf to her arm (which tickled) and just watching it crawl along. She thought it was so cute! We finally were able to leave it to climb up a tree "to look for his mama" according to squirt.

We stopped at one of my fav thrift stores also on the way to drop off some donations and look around briefly. We found a perfect wading pool and I could have bought plenty more items but I held back, which is not easy for me :) We finally made it to grandma and papa's and had some lunch before playing in the pool and playing with bubbles.

  

When Linnea got worn out she laid down for her nap just as baby Kaylan was waking up. We went over to help with Kaylan while her family was at Valleyfair. It had also been a while since we spent any time with the cutie and also so my mom could prepare for her brother and sister in law's visit a little easier.  

Speaking of her bro and sis in law, (Brad and Sophie) they arrived just as Linnea woke up around 4:30. She was happy they made it safely and brought their dog Lauf (sp?) who she LOVES playing with. 

 Papa came home from the Twins game shortly after that and played in the pool with Linnea. We had some dinner and headed home.

 We got squirt down in time for Chris and I to finally watch The Vow. The movie we tried to see at two different theaters on Valentines Day weekend, only to have it be sold out in both. You maybe remember that blog post? We both liked it!
