The Wednesday before preschool/work started Linnea and I headed to Teddy Bear Park again to partake in Kindermusic performing there and meet up with my friend Katie and her daughters and retrieve their bassinet they are borrowing to us for baby. It was early enough that we didn't get too hot! The girls had a good time playing together and the moms enjoyed catching up!
On the way home we stopped at Half Price Books where we happily found Pooh's Heffalump Movie (more commonly referred to as Lumpy around her). It is a very sweet movie that Linnea just loves and has a big grin on her face watching it. She also claims it calms her down before nap/rest time and bedtime. Im not so sure, considering she has dance moves for all the musical scenes. Oh well. It's adorable and a movie that Chris and I can enjoy with her too. We also stopped at Sam's club. In the evening we checked out KidsPark, which is a drop in childcare at a Parks and Rec Center we may send Linnea to once a week while I am on maternity leave.
