More Baking, Haircuts and a Star Wars Birthday!!!

The girls and I made some quick cutouts one weeknight during the holiday season...they were surprisingly good helpers and really got into it! they were able to decorate one after their bath to have for their bedtime snack :)

I bet one could guess whose is Harper's and whose is Linnea's...

I wasn't real wild about my haircut I had gotten on my Holiday shopping day so I went to a friend of a friends house to have her try to fix it up and in the process Linnea wanted hers trimmed so we did that and then Harper thought she wanted hers trimmed too but as you can see from her facial expression that thought did not last. She got the cape on, hair sprayed and combed and that was it. So we still have a long haired Harper. Almost 3.5 in this picture and never had her hair cut. It is now Feb and I have given it a small trim but nothing major.

My friend definitely fixed mine up :)

Silly Cocoa!

We have a 7 year old! A 7 year old who fell in love with Star Wars so that was her theme this year and daddy could not have been happier :) I had fun with it too and am happy I am up to date in the Star Wars world.

We rented a room at a rec center by our house this year instead of cramming everyone into our house. What a good choice...especially with the (noodle) light sabor fights we had going on ;)

Fun Star Wars named food...thank you to pinterest for most of the ideas :)

The main course was Chewbaca Cheesy Mac and Hutt Dogs.

No cake or cupcakes this year since I had made fancy cupcakes for one of our Star Wars parties so we did Wookie Cookies instead.

We had Star Wars Coloring sheets out, a Yoda craft and we played pin the helmet on Darth. Thanks to my dad for drawing the board again.

Chris and I dressed up as Princess Leia and Darth. Thanks to my coworkers for letting us borrow the costumes. Picture of Chris in costume to come. We made Jedi robes for the guests to wear too, but they didnt stay on a real long time :)

Grandma Sarah made Star Wars Jello Jigglers and we also played pass the death star :)

There's papa wearing a Jedi Robe! What a good sport!

Two big time Star Wars fans :)

May the Force Be With You!!!

Happy 7th Birthday Linnea!

We sent the girls to my parents for the night and had a few friends over that evening for bday party! It was so fun to have some uninterrupted game, snacks and drink time with our adult friends! And the girls love a sleepover at gma and papas!
