Ho Ho Ho Down, Concerts, Baking and Musicals!

Loooong post ahead!

We finally made it over to North Dale Rec Center for their holiday party and it was so cute!

They had lots of crafts for the gals to do...

And a "photo booth" with cute lil props and wrapping paper on the wall :)

They had to have some horses since it was a ho ho ho down...

And Santa was even there in a room for a special one on one visit :)

However...Harper did not want much to do with him...wouldnt leave my arms but she did give him a high five and her and I are in a picture but the volunteer who took it didnt use my camera, he used the parks and I have yet to see it. I wish I would have given him my camera but we were the last ones to see Santa and I think everyone was ready to head home. Linnea asked for knee high black boots and Star Wars flip flops!

The next day was Linnea's winter concert! The girls looked so cute before that I had to take some picture by our sparkly tree.

She is looking down in this picture but it was the closest one I have. They sang some very cute songs and had some nice dance moves too. Linnea loves music and had been singing quite a few for us at home. My parents were able to make it as was Harper. Daddy could not but I videotaped some of it for him.

first grade friends a lil sis!

I actually took the whole day off to bake cookies with my mom! We had so much fun and got all my cookies ready for my cookie exchange and two of her kinds for the family and friends done too! We were busy lil chefs!

My dad didnt end after that...the girls and I braved the holiday train again even tho last year it was so crazy busy.

We found a decent parking spot and walked a few blocks to the depot which was hopping with people and decorated nicely! We actually found our friends and waited for the train with plenty of time :)

There it is! all lit up!

There was also a concert for a good half hour which was lots of fun. Santa even had a part!

Pictures with Snoopy and a big Christmas tree outside the Depot.

The next day L had her church Christmas Program practice in Woodbury and my goal was to get a huge chunk of shopping done. We tried to see Santa at Valley Creek Mall after her practice and before some shopping but the line was ridicuously long so I talked her into seeing him after her bday party the next weekend as I knew he would still be there, but the reindeer wouldnt so we hoped that would make for a shorter line. We did see him with Blitzen and Prancer before going inside. The girls were very helpful at the thrift store picking out some chapter books for their cousins :)

I dropped the girls off at home shortly after this so they had an afternoon with daddy while I shopped and got my haircut. I definitely made a good dent in our shopping and was more than ready for the Elf movie night we had planned. I also got lots of wrapping done while watching so that felt good.

Poor Linnea had a tummyache and didnt get to perform in the church program. She got all dressed up for it and we even made it to church but then she got a horrible tummyache. We went to grandmas hoping it would pass but it did not so daddy came to get her and dropped Harper off since we had planned a nice brunch with my aunt and uncle before going to a musical of Miracle on 34th St.with them.

Linnea was originally going to join us for this as well but it would have been kind of long for her with some boring for her parts and over her head, so it was ok she was home with daddy and Harper. She felt better by the evening which was good! We enjoyed the musical and thought it was fun to do something new. It was at one of the Woodbury High Schools but put on by the community ed program.

Polar Express Party 2015

We had our annual Polar Express pajama party complete with the festive pizzas, hot cocoa, cookies, popcorn and some adult Christmas cocktails :)

 Foam crafts before showtime :)

All Aboard!!!!

The Christmas Cocktail...vodka, cranberry juice and gingerale..with some cranberries to make it pretty :)

The elf joined us of course!

The next day and week I tried to get a start on my cards and look who helped...a kitty and some reindeer!
