More Library Events!

We've been busy with our library events...Movie, Jack Pearson, Puppet Show...Peter Pan

Jack Pearson musician in the morning and Alexander and the Terrible Very Bad No Good Day in the evening. We loved both! Jack Pearson had the girls dancing and sang about PippiLongStocking and little free public libraries and Alexander was pretty hilarious :)

pretty flowers I get to see on every run around Como :)

We went to Central Library to see a great Peter Pan Puppet Show and made a butterfly headband!

And Mixed Nuts was hilarious as usual. Harper thankfully didnt get scared this year ;)

Meyers Girls Magnificent Monday!

Lake Johanna with Harper and Linnea! We slept in after our weekend trip and headed to the beach!

Sure am gonna miss these days when we go back to work, school and daycare!

Waterama Weekend!

We headed to Glenwood again the end of July to visit our friends the Wallins and celebrate Waterama with them :)

The Wallins were also watching some other friends for a bit our first night there and the girls hit it off well :) Once we got these cuties to bed us adults watched a super ridiculous movie called Vampire Beavers or something...

Lori and I ran the 10k in the morning again and both had good times :) Lori got second in our age group and I may have PR'ed! YAY!

We played at the park after the run for a bit and there is a really neat lions mouth drinking fountain :)

We packed a picnic lunch and headed out for a pontoon ride, lunch and swim :)

After the ride we played a bit while the lil ones napped and then had a taco bar for dinner.

We went back downtown after dinner and watched the waterski show! The girls loved dancing to the music!

They also each got to jump a bit in some inflatables :)

Then we had to hunt down our missing diaper bag which was actually turned in way earlier in the day by a vendor to the police station.

It was Chris' birthday so we had treats from A&W once we finally made it home. We could have probably stayed downtown for the lit up boat parade and fireworks and the Hairball concert since the kiddoes were up so late :) The girls actually really loved Hairball when Chris played them on youtube!

The next day we played at home until it was parade time! The girls rode in the Traveling Treehouse with the Wallins while Chris and I met them near the end.

We gave Daddy his bday gifts when we got home...Linnea made him a lil "purse" and we found a Twins jersey for him too!

Happy Birthday Daddy! We love you and are so lucky you are in our life!! XOXOXOXO!

Sick, Comedy/Magic Show, Groovin, Soccer, Box Playdate

After a few days of rest Linnea felt better and we had a nice breakfast in the porch and Harper even fed the "pet dog".

We biked over to a puppet wagon after our breakfast...

And I think maybe that same day we went to see a comedian juggler which was great :)

This comedian was at a library that has been remodeled and we had never been there before so we went in and checked it out :)

At some point this summer Harper did some skinny dipping in our neighbors pool and was so proud of herself for waltzing around that pool with the big girls and the toys :)

We have spent some more time at groovin in the garden dancing away :)

Since Linnea was definitely fever free for a day she went to her free soccer camp Thursday and Friday morning. She wasnt too wild about it and enjoyed the snack and water breaks and watching the scrimmages. I think it was just too hot and long for her. 3 hours is quite a while. Hopefully the hour one time a week is better for her since we did sign her up for soccer this fall ;)

We watched Caroline and Linnea after soccer camp and had a great time doing some box crafts, making smoothies and making slime! The girls also just enjoyed each others company playing veterinarian and dogs :)

This has been one of my fav summer meals...tortilla pizza made with whatever we have on hand...this one is olive oil, tomatoes, cheese, carrots, and squash.
Delicious!

Last day of camp!

Dylan and Jake's Bday :)

I took the girls on a little bike ride before we were going to celebrate Dylan and Jake's birthday.
It was such a beautiful day for a tour of Como!

After the bike ride Linnea wasn't feeling real well and had a fever so she stayed back from the party which was very sad for her but her and daddy didn't feel well enough to go.

Harper and I made it out to River Falls tho and had a great time splashing around, eating, playing and watching the boys open their fun gifts!

 Cupcakes!

Still had a fever the next day but felt well enough to have a "picnic" and movie.

and then she felt well enough for a lil trip to the park :)
