All Star Parade

The girls and I had our own fun for the All Star Game. I was so happy my friend told me about the All Star Parade. It would be silly for me not to do anything with the All Star Game since I am such a big baseball/Twins fan and the big game was right here at Target Field. Theres no way we could go to the game since the ticket prices were in the hundreds-thousands of dollars but the parade? Besides paying the $4 for the greenline to get downtown it was FREE!!! My fav word. And riding the Greenline was exciting too since we hadnt been on it yet...it is the new train from St. Paul to Mpls and it was so easy and smooth. Its close to our house so we had no problem finding parking and no one was really on it so our toddlers could stay in the stroller! We met up with my friends at the train stop and off we went with our Twins gear on and picnic packed. The kids enjoyed the mascots the most and were so good and patient while us mommies enjoyed seeing the players :)

The Red Carpet!

T.C. Bear!

A lil chilly for a July 15th parade!

Watching the players on their fancy cars in fancy clothes :)

We even got to go on the Red Carpet!

Best buds. Linnea and Josie.

Harper owning it.
We decided to continue on down to Target Field to see the excitement and take some pictures with the statues.

It was a good idea to get on the train home at Target Field because no one was on it again since everyone else was going to the game!

Even though it was a long day Linnea managed to have enough energy to go to her first night of Vacation Bible School at my friends church. We were so proud of her for going and not really knowing anyone. She loved it and went the next two nights as well :)

Watching some of the All Star Game after VBS with of course ice cream and popcorn!

Como Town!

Since Daddy was at his baseball game event so late he took the day off on Monday and we headed to Como Town for some family fun! We have never taken full advantage of this lil amusement park so close to us and we had a blast! It was a good day for it...not hot, not raining...a lil chilly in fact as you can see by our sweatshirts in mid July!

Thank you groupon for another fun day! I had been saving this groupon of 2 unlimited ride passes and I think I saved it for a good time. Both girls were at good ages to enjoy the rides. Mommy did buy one still so I could go on the rides with Linnea that she wasnt quite tall enough or brave enough for :) I went on the frog hopper with her twice and then she did it on her own twice! She also loved the zipline in the playground area. I will have Chris help me post the video. Its not working for me right now :(

Girls Day!

I had a day and evening with the girls a few Sundays ago when Chris went to the Future's and Legends Softball games as part of the Baseball All Star Week.

My parents were out of town so Linnea and I went to pick their raspberries for them while Harper hung out with daddy.

That afternoon I took the girls to a little art fair and music at the Como Lake Pavilion. Our neighbors were there too and we had a great time. It was a beautiful day!

Harper enjoyed walking around outside and looking at the waterfall.

The girls loved this piano...these lil pianos are placed in random places around the city for anyone to play.
I love it.

Making some pictures during the music.
Harper was very interested in that dog!

We of course had some ice cream after baths with a lil show.

We sent this to daddy while he was at the games. Goodnight daddy!

Blizzards and Dancin!

Us Meyers love our ice cream and the girls sure love dancing!
We made our own candy bar blizzards one night and turned Laurie Berkner music videos on and had a fun family night at home!
