MLK Day, Fam Skiing, Winter Carnival Kickoff Parade

Roooaaaarrrr!!!! We had a cute lil lion on the prowl!

We did some Martin Luther King, Jr crafts after listening to a Reading Rainbow story on youtube about the great MLK.

Linnea LOVES this song and seriously goes around singing it. She did this picture of MLK singing all on her own.

I helped write Harper's dream of peace and love and Linnea wrote hers all her own. She has a dream that all her friends can play together and don't fight.

Here are my Peace Birds :)

Harper was reading her baby to sleep :)

We had a great time skiing with my parents and Erik and his boys. It was pretty cold but we were bundled up enough to last for like two hours of skiing and then playing at the park. We tried to sled but the hill was way too icy and bumpy. Harper wasnt so sure about skiing until she saw everyone else doing it and she piped up saying "I do, I do!"

We tried something new this year and went to the Winter Carnival kickoff pedestrian parade :) The pictures below are in the wrong order because we went to Candyland afterwards, not first :) Anyways, the girls and I met up with Erin, Emma and Logan and walked in the parade, saw a trampoline bouncer, saw some ice sculptures, listened to some live music and then that was it before hitting the candy shop!

Craft Weekend!

We had some fun baking this past winter! Lots of this huge batch of cookies went with us to Bay City for a super fun craft weekend at Chris' moms house.

Chris unfortunately got sick so it was just us girls crafting and hanging out. We also got to go out to dinner for Jenny, Naomi and Gma Sarah's (Chris' mom and sisters) birthdays.

Lots of jewelry was made with beautiful beads!

And we made these adorable sock snowmen!

And what a fun slumber party!

Cuddles with papa!

Harper and Peyton! Such good buddies!

We also worked super hard on many waterless snowglobes and a few fill your own ornaments!

More Papa Dave snuggles!

And of course coloring happened :)

The girls love to see the "adopted" neighborhood cat Irma and give her treats and pets!

We missed daddy but had a good time and are looking forward to the next craft weekend!

Art, Vikes and Ballet!

We had a red head and a painter running around here one evening :)

Not sure what movie or show was being watched but they sure look cozy!

And we continue to be Vikings fans and had friends over for their final game of the season. They were close to the Superbowl this year...maybe next time!

A football field dip and Maverick's meat and snacks!

The kids all had a great time playing with Cocoa, dressing up, playdough, and watching Masha and the Bear and who knows what else :)

Hope to see these friends again soon!
