Nine Months!!!

This is one happy 9 month old who LOVES her big sis so we thought we'd add a little photo shoot of big sis Linnea to this post too!

Not too much has changed since I was 8 months old...my 9 month old appt got pushed back so I haven't had that yet. My parents sure seem to think I am getting bigger...I do love to eat. I get very excited and knod my head back and forth at the sight of food. I love to laugh and was recently compared to the pillsbury doughboy...a video will hopefully be on here soon of it. Mommy likes to put something in my hair everyday and I like to pull/play with her hair and Linnea's hair. Linnea is still the funniest girl on Earth. I have smiles for almost everyone I see, usually after studying them for a little while. I still love music and have enjoyed going to the kids concerts mommy find for me and sissy. My newest trick is spitting with my tongue!
Unfortunately I still don't like any kind of crib very much.

trying on Linnea's Tink hat :)

Sisters Outside!

Big Sister's Photo Shoot in our stairway...she's 4.5 here!

Saints Game

We headed to the Saints Game sort of for our own Father's Day celebration and sort of just for a fun family summer activity. We live so close to the ballpark and I got some free tickets from one of my many coupon websites so we didn't feel bad buying yummy treats there and also leaving early. Linnea was good for about 3 innings in the seats and then we go play in the kidszone for an inning or two. She waited all day for this rootbeer float and I waited all day for popcorn and a beer! yum!

Father's Day

We got to spend actual Father's Day with my dad and the girls' papa since their daddy was working. We had a wonderful day! We couldn't have asked for much better weather for what we decided to do to celebrate these men who mean so much to us and do so much for us.

We love you Daddy!
This isn't from Father's Day but its such a sweet pic of papa with two of  his granddaughters who love him so much so I thought I'd stick it on this post :)
We started the day at Megan's parents house where we got to go swimming! Well, Linnea got to go swimming with her papa. the water was too cold for me and Harper. But Linnea loved it and I was so proud of her for putting on the puddle jumper my parents gave her! It came in handy that day and on our trip. We had a nice cookout lunch and swim and then headed to my parents house to meet Erik and Lisa and the boys.

Papa and Harper sharing a beer...well Harper just likes the hard bottle on her gums.
a lil sweet treat before lunch and swimming.

all ready to swim!
yay Linnea! thx for helping Papa!
Once we all arrived at my parents house we proceeded to go to 2 playgrounds with them! The kids all rode some sort of bike except of course Harper who rocked the stroller and passed out.

wearing her my dad rocks bib! sorry its so blurry! She's quite the mover when it comes to eating!
Linnea reading Papa his card she worked so hard on.

After all that playing we ate taco salad and then the dads opened their presents. We also had birthday cake for Erik :) Chris opened his gifts from us late that evening after we got home and he was home from work. They also posed for a picture. Harper maybe pulling Linnea's hair...she loves to grab whatever she can.

Kid Concerts, Puppet Wagons and Crafts

This is a random post about what we've been up to so far this summer! I will try to not get so behind but we get so busy going out and about that I don't take the time I want to do this blog. I wanted to be up to date by the time we went on our vacation but that didn't happen so I am trying to catch up now and it's hard to remember everything we did and remember where all the pictures are...are they on FB, on my phone, the camera or Chris's phone...so anyways...
I know this cute picture below was taken after a rough night of sleep. They looked so cute though so I had to snap a picture to remind myself how sweet they are even if they still sometimes wake up every two hours to eat, pee, cry, help with the covers, have some water, etc.

One thing we've done is some glittery, sparkly crafts! These were done with glue, baking soda and food coloring. Thanks pinterest for the fun idea!

We went to see one of many kids musicians at Ojibway Park in Woodbury. What a perfect spot for a concert! A huge stage, open field and playground. We enjoyed the music, had a picnic, played and then visited GG. I think there are two more shows this summer like this. Another great part is that they are free! I caught the girls having a holding hands moment!
I love it!

We saw the Okee Dokee Brothers again! This time inside at Central Park in Woodbury. This is also where Brian and Megan got married : ) Linnea is down in front with the orange and white dress on.

Here we are below at a puppet wagon show...we will likely go to one of these once a week. They are so cute. Always at a park too so its fun to bring a picnic for during or after the show depending on the time we go :)

Once again, I'll try to be better at blogging but if you don't see one for a while, we are likely just out having fun :)

Bay City and Baby Cora Lee

We are taking advantage of Chris being home during the week and managed to take two little road trips before our BIG road trip to Michigan. We visited Chris's mom and family and had pizza for dinner, let the girls play (Jenny came over with her daughters) and then walked down to Flat Penny's, an amazing ice cream shoppe which I know I have posted about before. I truly love it and don't think I can visit them without getting ice cream! I have cute pics of us eating ice cream and I hope to find them and get them on here!

We also visited Chuck and DeAnna who welcomed their baby girl Cora Lee into the world on June 2, the day I ran the half marathon. It was so weird because I all of a sudden started thinking about them and how that baby should be arriving any time now and how their lives are going to change so much but how happy they will be. Anyways...I texted Chuck after the run and he said DeAnna was in labor right then! She had a fast delivery and all are doing well now. We were able to bring them dinner and visit when little Cora was only 11 days old. We are so excited for them!

The new parents, new baby and Linnea with her baby :)

Godfather and happy as can be godchild :)

Linnea really enjoyed playing with their baby doll. It was kind of a tester baby for their dogs! It cried and cried and cried unless Linnea hugged it or carried it around or sometime laying it down worked too. She was a very loving mommy. I got to hold Cora too and couldnt believe how tiny she was compared to Harper who we still see as small since we always see her with bigger kids!

Proud daddies!

The new family of 3 (5 if you include their dogs!)

Congratulations Clemens Family! Cora is so lucky to have you as her family!
