2 kid-free evenings!

Chris and I miraculously had two nights out with friends last week! (these may count as our July date night too)
The first one was to a Saints Game. It was so much fun! My parents were there and about 8 other couples who all took advantage of this great deal on Crowd Cut. $20 for two tickets, a flight of beer samples (8) and two brats! We had a great time even though we left early. We had our friends watch the girls who also have two kids of their own so we didnt want to be too too late. Their baby went to bed but their 5 year old and both our gals were still up when we got them at 9:30. We knew they would be so it was just fine and the kids had a great time eating, playing outside, doing yoga and watching a movie. GREAT night all around!

Our second night out with our friend Mel and her hubby Joe who are visiting from Florida. We went to the Bull Dog and played Shuffleboard, ate and had some drinks inside and then went on their patio to listen to Music in Mears Park. Another great summer night!

friends since junior high! so fun to her and her fam for a month this summer!

The girls and I slept over at my parents house that night since the girls were there and asleep when we were done. We had a fun lil breakfast and playtime until the rain stopped and then headed out for some errands and lunch around Woodbury until the River Falls Day Parade.

Lunch at Central Park after shopping at Kohls and before heading into library. Such nice lunch dates!

a stop at the Woodbury Library for some new books and their summer reading program sheets :)
Harper really wanted to join big sis!
