Afton Town Christmas and Twinkle Parade

Some more December fun...

Cocoa was making himself at home in our dollhouse one night this past December :) Now that we are in mid January I am sure he does not fit in there anymore. He has grown so much!

Linnea and Daddy made a Snowman!

Our festive chalkboard :)

We ventured to Afton as a family the first weekend in December to try out their lil village Christmas celebration. It was adorable! The town museum had a train going, face painting, a pretty tree and cookies and hot chocolate.

LIGHTS!

The girls also wrote letters to Santa and we went on a sleigh ride. I will try to remember to get those pictures from Chris to put here.

From Afton we headed to Stillwater to partake in the Twinkle Parade! Something I have wanted to do that last few years but it hasnt worked out. So glad it worked out this year. It was a nice night for a "lit up" stroll through Stillwater/

We were actually early enough to get some light up Christmas tree necklaces and listen to the Teddy Bear Band before the "parade."

We met up with my friend Lorissa and her kiddo but managed to forget to get any pictures together. It was very fun to walk in the parade together!

We even found Mrs. Claus!

And then Santa showed up on a fire truck after the lighting of the tree!

The night ended with a kid friendly fireworks show and we headed home after our
fun filled holiday day!
cute downtown Stillwater.
We ended the evening with Frosty in our jammies. Joined by Cocoa...
