Plenty of Fun in our Cold Jan!

This is just a random post of what we have been up to in this constantly cold winter...

building with duplos one night before bed :)

I had just Harper one day so we went to the Roseville Library and had so much fun having some rare one on one time playing and looking at books.

Linnea went as Cat Girl for super hero day at preschool!

This girl means business as you can see in the above picture on the left...on the right you can see the remains of a cookie. One of her fav things. She definitely deserved this McDonald's treat though since we had been at the GI Doctor earlier in the day and they took 2 vials of blood. They were testing for  thyroid issue or celiac...both came out fine but we wanted/needed to have her checked out because we are/she is still dealing with being constipated more often than she is not and she did not grow much between 9 months and 15 months.  We have been on soy since the end of December and have seen some improvement so maybe there is a dairy issue? We will discuss with our Dr more at the 18 month appt (unless something major happens before that) and check on her weight then too.

Grocery shopping with these two is soooo much easier when we get the car cart. I'm sure they think they are really driving it.

A couple faces and poses of Harper above and below...my mom watched her for a couple hours one Tuesday morning when I had a bus training to go to. Snuggling up with mommy below on the left and sleeping on the floor below on the right. No she did not fall asleep playing there. I am sure this was around 10pm or so after she passed out on daddy and we haven't had success laying her anywhere else without her waking up safely. She would fall right off our bed or the couch now without one of us on it and she just doesn't like the crib at night :(

Linnea and I and most of our neighborhood friends had maybe one of the best nights of our life so far a few Fridays ago. Frozen (our new obsession and favorite movie and soundtrack) was at Mall of America. However, it was not just the movie. It was the sing-a-long! Yup. A whole theater of little kiddoes singing away and some parents.  She absolutely loved it! We had all the lil girl sitting in a row together and us parents were behind her. Chris was so nice to stay home with Harper even though he had an online baseball draft. The movie would have been a bit much for Harper and dinner beforehand also would have been hard.

One quick photo of some of the gals before leaving Kokomos.

One quick chalk drawing before heading to the sing a long :)

I have been trying to continue to take advantage of the few "nice" days we have had this winter and go on walks with the girls, skiing alone or sledding with Linnea.

We are so lucky to live in walking distance to the lovely Como Lake.
