Mother's Day 2014

December 21, 2008 I became a mom of one. September 18, 2012 I became of two. Those were two of the happiest and hardest days of my life. My two caring, loving, sweet, beautiful and silly daughters are my world. They make me so proud and full of joy everyday. I would do anything for them. It is nice to have a day to celebrate Mothers of all forms.

Mommy and Linnea to the left and Mommy and Harper above:)

 Mama and her girls.

I am also so happy to have such an amazing mother of my own. She has always put her kids happiness and well being before her own and set such a good example for us. I hope I can be as a great of a mom as her. She has created so many wonderful memories for me.

I am also so blessed to have such a fanastic Mother in Law. The girls have the best grandmas and gg's!

And I was so lucky to have 2 grandmas and 1 great grandma at one point!
Grandmas hold such a special place in my heart. It was hard to have another grandma missing this year but we burned her candle and thought of her throughout the day.

We did get to see Grandma Bremer (Chris' Gma) at Sarah's garage sale so that was good. We haven't seen her or grandpa much lately. We miss them and are so lucky they are still with us. I couldn't find one of her with Harper (I know I have one but its way too late to keep looking) but her she is with Linnea I think around Harper's age now...about 20 months

So onto the Mother's Day...

Chris, Harper and I went out for coffee/breakfast while Linnea went to Sunday School to practice for her little end of year performance this Sunday.

Then we picked up L and went for walk/hike at the Oakdale Rec Center/Naure Reserve. What a lovely place to walk! We even found a park along the way. We were sort of looking for letterboxes but did not have luck. I didn't get crabby about this time :)

After the hike we ate lunch at Arby's and then headed back to my parents for visiting, gifts to mom and supper. Erik, Lisa and their boys came over as well.

We ended the day with Ice Cream Cake from DQ. Yummy!

I really loved spending time with the family and that would have been enough but Chris is so sweet that he also gave me a gift card to Marshall's and flowers. Linnea made a very cute picture at preschool too:
