Peter Pan, Lefse, Holiday Kickoff

The weekend before Thanksgiving was fabulous! We started it by watching Peter Pan on Friday night. We all liked it and we all liked the popcorn. Harper thought it was pretty cool to eat some. I picked a few real popcorn pieces apart for her but then decided to just get her her own lil bowl of puff corn. She LOVED it.

I got some open mouth baby kisses from this one at some point during the weekend :)

Saturday morning we headed out to Eden Prairie to Cheryl and Dwights to make the lefse for Thanksgiving and Christmas. It is a nice tradition we have. Cheryl and Dwight were so nice to bring out their old kids toys...a cool train, a barbie and a kitchen and food toys :) So fun.

Ladies makin lefse!

Yum! It probably took us about 4-5 hours to do it, including lunch but not including the prep that goes into it the night before. We didnt do any of that since we were watching peter pan and my parents and Cheryl and Dwight had that covered.

We ended our day at the Woodbury Lakes Holiday Open House. I just love that night/event. It is a nice kickoff to the holiday season!

lookin at the reindeer :)

We met grandma Sarah, Allison and Naomi there for the fun too. They had been shopping before it and then walked around with us a bit and watched the fireworks set to Christmas music. I also saw lots of people from the new parent connection.

No better spot to see fireworks than from daddy's "head". She always says head even though she means shoulders.

More holiday fun posts to come since we just finished Thanksgiving weekend...
