These two got to go to daycare together last Monday since I had one more day of work. It was a make up day from all that ridiculously cold or snow days!
Monday evening Linnea had her first T-Ball game! Daddy and her were out practicing a little when I came home.
She's pretty good and get so excited when she hits it!
We love the program so far...it's actually more of coach pitch than T-Ball. The coaches are dads and so helpful...Chris was out there helping too. They pitch 5 pitches and if the batter misses every one they can try off the tee until they get it. Surprisingly a lot of the kids hit it from the coach...even Linnea! Who knew she could that? Then the batter runs to first and stays there. They don't do outs yet or talk at all about fielding. Maybe they will touch on it later but for now they just want to focus on hitting and running the bases. Everyone bats. The last batter gets a homerun to clear the bases and then the other team hits. No score is kept either. So we only had two "innings" in the hour they played.

We played at the park a bit afterwards. Most of our neighborhood is in the league so they played as well and we didnt have to wake up for school or work the next day either so it didn't really matter how late we were out :)
