Holiday Stroll

Thanksgiving night Chris was finally exposed to Jurassic Park! He hadn't seen it and I think he liked it. I don't know why we chose that one for sure but we did. Usually we watch Planes, Trains and Automobiles but we have a date for that Sunday night so we had to replace with something else. While we watched I did do some online shopping and got some good deals for me and Linnea.

Instead of shopping on Black Friday we always head down to Red Wing to celebrate Thanksgiving with Chris' family. We got a little later start than we wanted since I took to the girls to the doctor for their lingering coughs/colds and Im glad I did because they were diagnosed with sinus infections and got some Amoxicillan which has definitely been helping. We still got there in time for our leftover meal and then headed to downtown Red Wing for the Holiday Stroll :) It is such a sweet and fun kickoff to the holidays.
We missed Santa this year but will be seeing him a few other times so it's okay.

We did get a picture with these lit up presents tho!

Gazing at the pretty window displays :)

We also decorated cookies and our cookie monster looked longingly at all the festive cookies in the bakery :)

Cousin Ella loading up with frosting!

Mama and her girls :)

Linnea and Peyton's creations :) Two beautiful stars.

We stayed for the little parade as well. Linnea got some candy and we saw some cute characters and lit up cars but we were hoping for some more music. We knew it wouldnt be the Holidazzle but we did think thered be a little more to it.

We got back to grandma Sarah and Papa Daves just in time for Frosty the Snowman on tv! yay!

We spent the night there so we didn't need to drive home so late and it had started to rain actually so the roads may have been bad too.
