Turkey Day!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

Here's the bird!
We had all the usual Thanksgiving foods...turkey, green bean casserole, corn pudding, pumpkin cranberry bread, rolls, fruit salad, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, sweet potatoes, cranberries, olives, pickles, lefse and I think thats it until the pie...

We had a kids table this year and there was no way Harper wasn't sitting at it :)

Chris and I at the feast.
Lisa brought a delicious Thanksgiving Sangria...Reisling wine, sparkling apple juice and fruit.
Very pretty and very yummy!

For some reason Harper was adamant that this pillow needed to be on the rocking chair in order for her sit on it and look at a book. She did fall off with it once but it didn't seem to phase her ;)

Family.
The best we could do with grandma and papa :) Harper had had enough.
Maybe we should have used the chair with the pillow on it.
Special stories with great uncle Dwight :)

It was a little cold but we had to go on our traditional turkey day walk after stuffing ourselves.

Our angels Linnea and Dylan made some snow angels on the ice and left their footprints.

We went in and played some games and had some dips and crackers while the kids watched Arthur's Christmas. It was then time for pie!!

We had apple, pumpkin, butterscotch and pecan.

This is Harper's "cheese" face :)

We have so much to be thankful for in our life. We have had plenty of ups and downs this past year that I won't go into to detail on the blog. Some of you readers know what I'm talking about and I thank you for being there for us. Through it all we have had an outpouring of support from friends and family. The holiday season will be different this year but we will enjoy ourselves anyways and be happy that overrall we have so much love, faith and blessings in our life.
