Saturday morning started off with finally cool enough weather for a decent walk! The temps have been ridiculous here....highs of 90's with heat indexes reaching 113! too hot and humid! Anyways...I went for a walk and then we got ready for Linnea's dance class and straight from there we went to my friend Melissa's baby shower. Melissa lives in Florida and was here visiting so her family threw her a lovely shower. Her baby girl is due in October, our friend Megs is due July 19th and I am due September 16th. Here is a picture of us three preggo ladies and Linnea, still in her leotard!
After the shower we came home and relaxed for about an hour and freshened up for our evening at the Stages Children Theater again. This time we saw Seussical Musical. What a fun show it was! It was based a lot on Horton Hears a Who and we just happened to check that out of the library on Monday so had been watching it on and off all week. My friends kids also happened to be there with their grandparents and we were sitting right behind them! At the end of the show Rachael (who will be 6 I think) grabbed Linnea's hand and helped her get autographs from all the performers. It was so cute! Linnea hadn't done that at the other shows since they were so much busier than this one.
We hope to go to the Christmas one which is Madeline's Christmas.
