Rosefest!

A few Monday's ago we headed to the Roseville Rosefest Parade. There was something just about every night to celebrate Roseville, a city we live very close to! We went with some friends of mine and their daughter who is a few months younger than Linnea. They just moved her from Zimmerman so we have been happily showing them around and spending some time with them at fun summer events! The parade was much longer than we expected it to be but had plenty of music, candy and even the ice cream truck! we treated the girls to some of the hugest popsicles I have ever seen! Which meant I got some too since it was melting faster than squirt could eat it ;) These pictures are of course on my phone which I still don't know how to get on the computer so those pics hopefully will be added soon...in the mean time here are pictures from other Rosefest events:

Along with the parade for Rosefest we also partook in two other fun city events...the Discover Your Parks kickoff where there was a puppet show put on by the puppet wagon, popcorn, lemonade and a bounce house!

Linnea is usually tentative about the Bounce Houses and I usually don't like her in there with the big kids because she generally plops down and doesn't move and then cries when people get close...but since it was so hot not that many people were out so Linnea and her new lil friend Emma had a great time jumping!

The girls went in the puppet wagon and put on their own lil show afterwards! Linnea has the yellow chicken (at least I think it's a chicken and Emma has piglet)!

The following night the Teddy Bear Band was performing which was lots of fun! There was also a Touch a Truck event so Linnea climbed in a fire truck and police car. She said the fire truck seat was hot and that there were naughty people in the back of the police car.

Linnea went right out and danced with the other kids all by herself. We were so proud of her! She is in the orange shirt and green shorts.

She loves to hug anything in costume.
