A Halloween Visit to BVS

We started celebrating Halloween first thing in the morning with pumpkin pancakes in the shape of a variety of Halloween things.

Then midday we got in our costumes and headed to my school to show off our costumes and our kids! It was so fun to see my coworkers and students. Everyone was very welcoming and happy to see us. Lots of hugs and smiles! I went as a ladybug, Chris as an eyeball (yes an eyeball...apparently Linnea had been asking him to dress as an eye all week as he laid her down her for bed), Linnea was a princess and Harper a pumpkin.

The princess helping to make our last minute Halloween treats...chocolate covered pretzels with Halloween sprinkles!

The elementary wing where I work was having a fall festival with a hayride, Halloween goodies and Halloween sensory stations. We participated in all of it.

On our way home we stopped by Linnea's old preschool an shared our chocolate dipped pretzels with Halloween sprinkles. Linnea was happy to see her old friends and teachers so it was hard to leave but we needed to so we could get ready for trick or treating!
