National Night Out

We were having a mostly healthy summer until lil Harper got a fever on and off for a total of 3 days...Linnea was very understanding that we couldn't do a library event and settled for Toy Story at home which we hadn't watched in a very long time so that worked out well. Harper kinda watched, kinda rested, kinda played.

Harper seemed very good and no fever by the afternoon so we went to Mixed Nuts, a comedy show at the library. However, once there, Harper did not seem so good and was crying and crying. I wasn't sure if she was still sick or was a little scared of the show. They did a lot of fake falling and being loud which always concerns Harper. Linnea however thought it was hilarious.

That evening was National Night Out and since Harper still wasn't up to par she stayed home with Daddy. Linnea and I had a great time with our fun lil neighborhood :) The kids worked hard on decorating their bikes for  a bike parade :)

she had a great night!
We did bring Harper in to the Dr. to make sure she didn't have something that could be treated...ears were fine, throat was fine and after taking blood we learned her white blood cell count wasn't alarming. Just a virus we needed to wait out. Linnea got it a few weeks later but we are all fine now :) I was so happy neither one got hand, foot and mouth disease which is going around.
