An owl and mom's morning out!
This past Sunday was the Twin Cities Marathon! I didn't know anyone running it but still thought it would be a fun lil outing for Linnea and I. We ended up meeting a childhood friend of mine who did know someone running and cheered with her for a little while. Linnea was very good at shouting go runners go and clapping!
She was also good at running back and forth along the sidewalk "training" for her "race."

We collected leaves on the way back to the car which she painted when we got home and tried to stamp with them. The project didn't go exactly how I wanted it to but she enjoyed it anyways!

was it last year that we watched the marathon together? i MISS this time of year in mpls: state fair, plainview corn on the cob days, the U going back to school (the view from the lake st bridge), the marathon, apple orchards...

Im not sure if was last year, I think it may have been the year before. We can relook on the blog!
