Lebanon Hills

As the end of summer was approaching I tried to squeeze as much in as possible and check some things off the summer bucket list. sinceI know that once school and work start up we have less and less time to do much besides get home, make/eat supper, run and hopefully get a little playing/relaxing in before bedtime. The bedtimes also need to be earlier :) And I think with kindergarten comes a little bit of homework. So anyways...last summer the girls and I went to Lebanon Hills on a whim after a show at Caponi Art Park and LOVED it. Well we didn't make it to Caponi but we headed to Lebanon Hills anyways for a walk and beach time :)

She wasnt too thrilled about just going on a walk so I had her be on the lookout for different parts of nature...yellow flowers, sticks, rocks, bark, etc.
Then all of a sudden she started running and made it almost the whole way back to the beach...likely just under a mile!

Nice view :)

Meyers Girls Selfie. We have had so much fun this summer. I have to remind myself when work and school start again it is still fun...just a different kind of fun :) We swam and swam and then had a picnic lunch and swam some more.

 It definitely work them out!
