Linnea+Lily+Claire+Abby=lots of fun!

Friday morning our plans changed again due to the car...again I had everything packed up..a breakfast and picnic lunch to have during a magic show at Ojibway in Woodbury after having breakfast with GG. So I go out to the car to start it to cool it off because it was dreadfully hot again. The car wouldn't start! I left the lights on on Wednesday after work! oops!So I call GG to let her know we aren't coming, call AAA to see if they can come out and help and call my friend Lisa who we were supposed to meet at the magic show with her twins and niece. All the while Linnea is being such a good and patient little girl. Maybe with the help of Dinosaur Train and yogurt but hey whatever works. Turns out AAA could come and help and Lisa and her girls thought it would be just as fun if not more fun to come over to play. SO Linnea and I got out all our kiddie pools, chalk and bubbles and drew some pictures on our driveway while waiting for our dear friends. Lisa even brought me a white chocolate ice coffee from the Bou. What a great friend! the girls had a great time swimming and being outside for about 40 minutes and then everyone got hot and hungry so we made a lunch inside and played in there until naptime. Linnea also noticed the three other girls were potty trained and wearing underwear sooooo she decided to be a big girl too and went potty on her potty chair! She was so proud and so was everyone else. She even carried her lil potty to the big toilet and dumped it down. Then she hung out in underwear the rest of the day and pretty much as been in undies ever since. So we are potty training! She is pretty much only in a diaper for long car rides, naps and overnight. We have had moe luck going in the potty or holding it than we have accidents so I think that is a good sign! We will keep it up! Linnea is mostly excited about this because once she is potty trained she knows she can go to preschool with three of her best buds who are already there. We dont hesitate to use Connor, Peyton and Elliette as an incentive for her either! We ended our fun day with another movie nigh nigh...it is sort of becoming a Friday night tradition when we are home. We watched the first Curious George and it was sooo cute!
